A case study on the Teach Too organisational development projects at Leeds City College

Summary

Leeds City College developed a whole organisation approach to improving technical education by strengthening links with industry experts and facilitating staff development through industrial updating opportunities. The project aimed to create sustainable and meaningful collaboration across the whole college. The project developed an Initial Teacher Education initiative with input from industry specialists, which enabled intriguing collaborative activity. This project enhanced the professional learning opportunities of five tutors and used Joint Practice Development to provide teaching opportunities for industry experts.
