Teach Too: ELATT: supporting unemployed learners to enter the fast moving technology sector

Summary Teach Too is about encouraging people from industry to spend time teaching their work through curriculum development, promoting the practice of teachers and trainers updating their industry experience and helping to build genuine collaborative arrangements between employer and providers. Through the Teach Too Development Programme, the project involved collaboration between an IT training organisation and a web development company. Involving 19+ learners from disadvantaged neighbourhoods, they were assessed for suitability in terms of soft skills, ambitions and technical ability then supported to build their portfolio for future work opportunities while gaining valuable skills and experience of working in the digital industry environment capacity.
